PirBOX-MAX is an open-source, compact, low-power LoRa-based PIR motion sensor designed for long-range applications like basements, underground garages/parking areas, and remote sheds. It extends functionality beyond motion detection by supporting reed switch inputs, SSR (solid-state relay) control, and a push-button input, making it ideal for monitoring doors/windows, controlling devices, or acting as a remote gate sensor or doorbell.

Seamless integration with Home Assistant over MQTT via the Gateway ensures reliable performance and effortless setup—even in areas where Wi-Fi or Zigbee fail.
